Now we have a competition, teams…but the most important thing is football (or soccer as others might call it). When did it begin?
The UEFA European Football Championship is the main football competition and has been held every four years since 1960. Originally it was called European Nations Cup until 1968 when it gained the name of European Football Championship (well everybody knows it as “Euro 2008″, or whatever year is corresponding).
